So I hunted with my camera instead from my rifle blind. He put on quite the show making a scrape. Sure hope he makes it to next season.

I have him at 4, but I could be wrong. He is healthy for sure he has eaten a ton of protein all summer long.

Actually the left corn feeder is about 85yrds and the right one 70yrds. This blind sits up on tall hill. I take quite a few new young hunters each season so I wanted the shots to be pretty close.

More corn = more deer. I got tired of seeing one buck take over a feeder so just added another option. I dont mind an occasional hog so I dont pen my corn feeders.

Looking good my friend. I was out last Monday with Scott and we watched a five year old put on a show as well. Had the little bucks give him all the space he wanted while they sparred with each other.

I agree he looks like a very healthy 4 year old. You can see the protein and green browse have him fat for winter. The place looks great. cheers

Heck you maybe right? He just looks old in this picture and it could be that he has already been running some hot does and just looks old from the chasing and the way he is standing confused2

Looking at his brisket protruding, head rounding off and a face of an older gentleman, big belly (that is probably from a generous landowner laugh ) and his hips narrowing. Pretty sure he is older than 4 though, still a nice big fat one up

BTW how far out is that second feeder?

BTW how far out is that second feeder.

It is only 85yrds. Pic is a little deceiving. One on the right is about 70. Blind is up on a tall hill.
