I have the Garmin Alpha 100 and was wondering how y'all carry it? Last year I had a loop sewed on the upper left hand portion of the strap of the vest and used the belt clip that came with it. Also had it tethered to me with a retractable lanyard. Worked OK but was wondering if there might be a better way.

I carry mine hanging from a ring on the front of my vest.

Tried a retractable tether...not good. Snagged on a limb and almost lost the Alpha
Hanging from the belt did not work for me.

I hang mine from a D Loop on my vest strap and nestle it in my shell pocket to keep it secure when moving fast.

The watch is what gets looked at 95% of the time, but I still want easy, on hand access to the Garmin at time...especially if someone needs a little tickle
