I’m loving this weather! Ready for duck season to start. Crazy how much the lakes are on the rise. Going to be a lot of water to choose from, but at least it’s flooding the vegetation!

My local indicator pond today looked pretty good. Might have to do some scouting this weekend for the fun of it.

I was gonna scout this weekend, but with all this water and seeing it will probably drop a lot before season starts, think I'll just stay home this weekend, drink beer and work on strategy.

I jumped up at least 500-700 ducks from one spot this past Saturday. Backed out and they all landed back . I do believe its going to be great year!

My lake has more birds on it than I’ve seen in 9 years of hunting it, and it’s only October.

Just stay 100 yards north of the ramp and pass shoot for a quick limit as they fly over the pavement Thats all the information I got for the rest of the season!
