It was 85 degrees when I climbed up into my tree at 4:00 in Brown County. Had a couple of bucks stroll through by 4:45. At 5:30 the bottom fell out of the sky and went to the cabin just in time to avoid some small hail. We got 1.2" in 20 minutes. It was 48 degrees by the time night fell and blowing 20 from the north. It’s now 34 on the front porch. Sure do hope Fall is entrenched and beckons a fierce winter. Love this weather!

49 here, raining off and on. It'd be more fun if I could get over this dang cold. 'Tired of playing "what color is my flem?" barf

While hunting today in Dickens county had to leave my tree stand again by 8:30 AM as the wind was blowing at 25 and the temp was 32. My feet got frozen. Saw a 4 point at 7 am and not a thing after that. Need to get out the cold weather gear especially foot gear!!!!!!!!!!!

Dropped 20 degrees so fast you’d think it saw a state trooper.

Wind came on hard here in Helotes. I have a tree and a good part on my fence down.
That was a dang nice tree, old fence.
