Anyone used these? Supposedly awesome shells.

I believe the shot is bismuth, guys are using 2 3/4 #5 for geese and crane and say they are hammering them.

I’m sure very few have used them at that price point.

This may be a dumb question but why would you load same shot load at both 1350 and 1450 FPS and charge the same for both? As a buyer why would you not choose the 1450 everytime? Am I missing something?

Sometimes slower patterns better. Check it your gun.

Kind of my thoughts as well about price and the 1350 vs 1450?

I've always used 3 inch shells as well for waterfowl.

If you look at the "pointers" page, they are recommending for beyond 30 yards full choke with 1350 and xtra full with 1450 related to patterns. Bizmuth being soft they are probably drawing those with older fixed choke and 2 3/4" guns.

I never shoot loads over 1500fps, with #6 up to #2, I have no problems killing ducks well outside the range of most shooters.

Go up a shot size and a little more open choke and you can save a ton of money and extend your range slightly

When they come out with 28 gauge I am going to try some for sure. I bought 5 cases of Rio Bismuth for a little less ($.03/shell) than what they are getting per shell for their 20 gauge ammo. I'm sure there 28 gauge will beat the price I paid for the Rio being that less shot is used.

There is time, and you must take it, to lay your hand on your dog's head as you walk past him lying on the floor or on his settle, time to talk with him, to remember with him, time to please him, time you can't buy back once he's gone" GBE

I don't know what that's for?

I paid $287/case of 250 shells. Boss is $235/case of 200 shells for 20 gauge.

Rio: $287/250 = $1.148 per shell
Boss: $235/200 = $1.175 per shell

My mistake, thought you were looking for 28 Biz blush
