I have TONS of hogs on my property. I shoot about 1 a week. Would it be a bad idea to let my dog practice on those blood trails? She’s a year old. I’ve done some work with deer blood and hides but I live in a 1 buck county and NEVER see does at the feeder so I only end up shooting 1 deer per year. My only concern is that if I put her on deer blood then she might leave the trail if she smells hogs.

Wouldn't she leave the trail of hog blood just as easily as deer blood if she smells hogs?
I'll take a Black Female every time.

Tracking blood and tracking an animal are different things. I guess am confused as to what it has to do with deer blood. Bloods blood, one of those, I forget which is supposedly sweeter than the other to dogs. If she becomes distracted, then her blood tracking training is not complete and she should not pick up bad habits with such a scent frenzy environment if shes not ready.

I trained my pup on tracking for the last 18 months or so. It doesn't matter to her what the scent trail is, all she knows is the scent at the starting point, she takes it from there.

Blood is blood... And tracking dead stuff is tracking dead stuff. You should put your dog on every trail you can. Tracking wounded is not the same as tracking live critters
Mix in the hog tracks with deer blood and hide drag
