Got this guy coming in at all hours (day and night) for the last two months. I put eyes on him this weekend at last light. He was at 35 yards but I was not comfortable with the shot so I let him walk (I'm fairly new to bow hunting).

I'm thinking he's about 120 and at least 4. Do you guys think that looks about right?

He sure is healthy looking. From that pic I wouldn't argue with the age, tuff picture to score by.

Good luck

It's up to you if you think he looks alright.
I think he would make a great first buck with a bow.

Once i learned that i didn't "NEED" to kill something, and that if i did kill something all the fun stopped and work began, i was a much better hunter.

If you like him take him. I would call him 3.

If I had a bow in my hand, I would be posting the successful hunt photo...unless you got some real monsters you are waiting on...I’m thinking he wont make it through gun season, unless you got some really good neighbors that are serious about trophy bucks...

That's great you have them coming @ 9AM (assuming the pic time is correct). I wouldn't wait too long to take the shot... cool breeze sends them back into the night.

Good luck!

CharlieCTC-

The time is correct. He's in a bachelor group of 6, they occasionally come out in the morning but just about every day after 4. Unfortunately, the next time I'll be able to hunt is opening morning (rifle). I'm sure that he'll be long gone by the time I'm back. Either of his own free will or by another member (community stand). We have a ton of deer in our area so I'm sure I'll be posting with a different buck on the ground...
