Looking for advice. My tires are leaking where the tire meets the wheel. I filled the tire with slime and it is coming out, but did not seal it. It is a cheap lease four wheeler worth less than new tires would be so that is not really an option as it is more there for emergency. Anyone know how to get it to seal? Thanks in advance.

That is what I figured would be the case but did not hurt to ask, it is a very small spot where it is leaking. Probably will just keep an air pump with it and pump it up when it’s low. Thanks

Try a better sealer. Got some from the Honda store, works better than the green slime. Forgot the name, grayish looking.

Might try slime for tubes. It has bigger particles

Multi-Seal is pretty thick stuff and seemed to be pretty popular with a lot of folks on here. It looks like they have changed the packaging and increased the locations you can get the product since the last time I bought it. I put it in my Kubota tires about 4 years ago and it's worked great. Which reminds me, I need to pick up another bottle for a tire I just replaced. Downside is that it's $18 a bottle and for a car, you would need 4 bottles.

Thanks,
Rich

They make a bead sealant just for that purpose. Might check with a tire shop.

I'd take them to a tire shop and clean them out. Probably rusted and not sealing now.

I'll try the bead sealer! Thanks. Might start using that on all new tires I get for four wheelers now as preventative maintenance.

Thanks for the suggestion of bead sealer. I was able to stand on the edge of the tire to open up the bead enough to get some in there. No more leaks
