Good hunt with Pig_Popper this week. We ended up with 8 hogs from two properties. I was testing some new bullets that are turning out to work very poorly for hunting purposes, zipping through hogs with minimal damage, in part due to minimal expansion. Time to go back to better ammo...

Soaking up a lot of lead, or in this case, copper. Good info, kudos.

mikei, the muzzle velocity should have been well over 2500 from my rifle, previously chronographed at 2700 from a buddy's rifle with a 2" longer barrel.

The previously recovered bullet came from a hog shot at 40 yards.

Another great video. I get shaky too when I’m stalking and shooting off sticks. Maybe over time I’ll figure out how to settle down a bit.
