But they sure play an important roll.
Yes! A Weatherby does kill them deader.

Man those things will do a number on your truck at 75mph. Good thing there wasn't too much damage.
Spend time with the ones you love. Time is not guaranteed.

When I was a kid one got airborne with a full string of deer intestines in his mouth and proceeded to drop it on the windshield of Dad's swiftly approaching station wagon. Bullseye! Great picture.

Cool pictures, I think it's neat how 50 or more of them are around hog carcasses drug to the "boneyard". My son once rode his dirt bike down there and scared them off, he said it was "spooky". Now I'm thinking I should rename it the "bird-feeder" rather than boneyard. There nests are giant. I'd like to see an egg.

Funny how the babies are snow white. And the noise the babies make is crazy spooky!

they do a fantastic job at cleaning up whats not taken off of pigs, yotes, or whatever else left in the field, and helping out after a day of bowfishing.

Happened to look st my truck today and theirs a big dent next to the windshield next to my drivers side mirror.....I guess I better hit the brakes next time.

That's a new one on me, all I've seen just lay their egg's on bare rock ledges, holes in the side of a bank, deer blinds and old houses. Never even heard of one building a nest, maybe use another birds nest but never build one.

Now I'm thinking I should rename it the "bird-feeder" rather than boneyard. On one lease we would go up the ridge behind the cabin to dump hog/deer bones on a broad ledge. We called it "The Level of Death".
