I really like this 54" platform. Very rigid and stable. Goes up quick with the help of one person. I added the corner pieces, 2"x6", and a solid elbow rest that sets up on the feeder side. With the corner rests, I can shoot off my bipod 360 if I want. There's a tree behind me that breaks up my sillhouette.

I also bolted this ammo box to the deck for sand bags.

I cut the noisy handle off the lid.

Nice adds. Some of my favorite hunts have been in open Tripods, Quad Pods.

The rubber mat helps as you come up the ladder and need to put one knee down to enter the seat. I've tossed the idea of put netting around it, I'm up against a tree and wear full camo. These are great stands.

I have had one of Ramballs 2 person quad pods for 3 years now. I love hunting out of it and it is still sturdy and quiet. I put up some cheap camo netting to hide me on the side closest to the deer.
