I got it! IF you're in an AR county, here is your story.... His left antler kinda looks like it's on bakkerds ... therefore, there was a Pere David deer somewhere in the woodpile. As a hybrid, he is an exotic and legal. Let me know how that works out when you explain it to Mr. Greenjeans....in the meantime, I'm ->

Looks like he has a leg injury. I saw that but isn't the deformed antler usually on the opposite side of the leg injury?

Looks like he has a leg injury. I saw that but isn't the deformed antler usually on the opposite side of the leg injury? Seem to me it depends on if it was a front or hind leg injury as to which side antler is effected. The shape of that left beams looks more like a leg injury.

My amateur opinion says it is an injury thing rather than genetics but if you see 2 or 3 more like him you need to get a new place to hunt.
