MLD started off slow. There is a lot of grass for them to graze on. Nothing really hit the feeders at all. Looks like it will be a slow start to the season. Anyone else seeing the same thing.

Spend time with the ones you love. Time is not guaranteed.

Our place in Jack county looks like spring it’s so green. But, the doe and hogs are hitting the feeders like it’s winter. The bucks however are not showing up at them yet

Yeah it was like the deer it the off switch on the feeders. Went from seeing lots of deer at feeders, eating 6-8 bales of hay a week, and seeing 20-30 on drivess through the property to maybe seeing 3-5 deer and nothing at some of the feeders. We were able to knock down 5 does but it was tough. Once acorns rot and forbes go away should start seeing more activity. Plus the moon didn't help.

Live to hunt, forced to work!

Didn't kill any deer this weekend but thank goodness there isn't a bag limit on mosquitos I couldn't kill enough of them............... definitely going to buy a thermocell after work today! Saw several little baby fawns, guess some does got bred late. Only mature buck I saw was a bedded one I jumped on the way to the stand. Ready for the cold to get here and take out the food and mosquitos!!

Yes. SW Concho County. Maybe seeing 20% of normal...if that. Lots of easy groceries.
