Archery started here couple weeks ago. Had cams out in 4 different public area's,
they no were as big as OSBWMA, all 4 put tagether bout 1/5th size if that. Also had cams out on 4 differant privet land.
Although its getting tough ta find places. Lots of changes since 83. Seeing box stands, several of land owners get tagether. Archery still pretty much same, except 60+ can use crossbow. My ma in her 80's, took it up, pastbthey did shot gun, family & friends, back then, aplied for doe tags, limit of how many given. Only 1ta2 days hunt. Buck only had 3 days. Used me .45 Kentucky. My ma tis 2fur3 crossbow. They have a shotgun hunt, can use muzzleloader, this year can use scope. Then later muzzleloader season, can use scopes. In-lines are the prefured choice. Not sure all details,
all me hunting gear, stands, guns, bows, still cant draw back even 40#'s, crossbow, still in
... Northe rn part of state can use rifle. Shot-gun season been extended. They had muzzleloader season in 83 just certain counties. Few heard of in-lines.
Nough bout MN.
OSBWMA has 3 primative camping area's usualy see more trucks parked their. The people that work thar,
pretty cool group, usualy plenty of acorns. Old atv trails hold water, few little slews, got couple lakes, West side , ol creek channels, depend how high river up. & have seen
plenty of wildlife,
although as many oaks thar be, used climbing, or chain-on stands with ladder steps, they, (ladder steps) can be used ta drag deer out, indian style. Use strap tie two tagether at end,
V style, use safty belt ta tie deer on grab ther endcan also use safety harness. No pics, but does work. Any ways, seen very few squirrel. Compared ta oak trees. Enjoy watching the wildlife, keeps ya alert, always carried cammera ta video.
Anways best wishes ta all who venture on OSBWMA.
