I hunted this morning and nothing was moving at all. The corn on the roads and in the feed pen was still there when I got to the blind at 6:15 this morning. To green and a few acorns are scattered around.

I hunt 15 mins from the house. Got to the tree stand started sprinkling then pouring. This place is off a dirt road so I headed home. Will prob hunt another place this evening because the road likes to eat 4wd trucks.

Nothing moving but a couple of coons. Probably start moving at around 11 or 1 pm. Evening should be good.
Thursday at 12:45 PM #33 Once i learned that i didn't "NEED" to kill something, and that if i did kill something all the fun stopped and work began, i was a much better hunter.

Deer this morning out in the open grazing in pastures. Too far from tree stands near the edges. Hay bale blind would have been the ticket today. Stand near the creek had water debris marks about 4 foot up from the ground. Deer feeder had flood debris almost to spinner. No signs of deer around it since last rain. Visibility was limited with heavy fog until around 10am. Temperature was nice but mosquitoes were almost big enough to harvest. Thermacell paid for itself this morning. Next time to hunt will be Sunday evening if not raining.

It rained this morning with no sightings of deer. It’s really green out here in Fayette county. The acorns are starting to drop. Back in the stand this evening, and it’s raining again. Oh well, it sure feels good to be back in the stand, regardless of the conditions. Hopefully the rain lets up. Best of luck to everyone!!

Slow this morning out here in West Texas. Had deer come in but the cows pushed them off. I ended up taking a doe that was too slow to leave as I was going past in my sxs. 22 yard bow shot. Been in the blind since 3:00 and haven’t seen a thing.

Wife had major shoulder surgery on Friday. I had to stay home. 3 months in a sling/can move her shoulder for 3 mo other than Therapy. She can’t even get get dressed by herself. My hunting season doesn’t look good. I wanted to spend a few days at the lease in Nov. oh well, I get to look forward to turkey season in April.
Thanks, Billy

I saw a spike yesterday late afternoon and then a doe with a fawn and two yearling bucks this morning. Nothing ate corn very long but all of them ate weeds as they walked off.

Spooked a couple of does going to stand. Not any movement after that. Real quite tonight. Need a little breeze and some cooler weather to drop some leaves so I can see further. Still no evidence of deer to the feeder.

Hunted all day yesterday and today in Central Texas. Game-cam from all last week showed two mature bucks and a couple of large does coming every morning and evening. Had a pack of yotes within 100 yards of my stand all day yesterday that keep anything from coming :-/ (not to mention the 1"+ of rain). Today I had 5 different fawn (alone or in pairs), two large basket bucks, and one random mid-size doe (that was too jittery to get a good shot on). The two basket bucks pretty much hogged the feeder the entire day. Wonder if the rut started early since one of the basket bucks was marking pretty heavy. Not sure where my big bucks and does were.
Will try again when the rain clears out in a couple of days.

Lid was locked in and spinner was slinging air the past few days. Got excited when I didn’t see corn on the ground until I checked camera and nothing.

Mine is still slinging corn, just nothing coming to the feeder.

Saw a few young doe yesterday around 7 pm. On camera the few bucks all came in after dark and not many came. Have hogs but no turkey. Too much natural green stuff out there.
