Wondering what y’all think... my hunting spot is about 100 acres, mostly wife open. Property to the north is heavily wooded, and all the deer come from there. Question is, when I set up my feeder and stand, how close is too close? I will only shoot an animal on my side of the fence, but right now my feeder and bow stand is about 40 yards off property line. When bow hunting there is a pretty good chance an animal will go back to neighbor. Neighbor hunts, but doesn’t have stand anywhere close. Am I being over cautious?

Depends on your relationship with the neighbor. You have to have their permission to go onto their property to get a deer if one goes over there. I want to be at least 100 yards from a property line when hunting and really the further I can be the better I like it. There are always some exceptions to that and on one place I hunt the neighbor has stands almost on the fence line and so do I. It is all agreed to between us though
