I’m tossing around the idea of switching to a single pin sight, Trophy Ridge Alpha to be exact, but can’t decide 100% on what to do. Any input is greatly appreciated with the pro’s and cons of single pin sights

Pros uncluttered sight picture and can dial the yardage.
Con set to one distance and requires movement that can get you busted hunting to change yardage.

Very close to season to be making changes

I’ll add another con to single pin sights even though I use one myself. It’s very easy to forget to move the pin when you’re looking at an animal (I know this for a fact). If it’s close it likely won’t matter, but it could throw you off enough to miss or have a bad shot.
Like kmon1 said, a big pro is an uncluttered view. I used multi pin sights for years and just got to the point that they were too busy for my eyes.

My story isn't that good. I sliced the back of a young buck my buddy wanted gone from his place. He ran off and came back a little while later and I put him down. As soon as my buddy saw him when I got back in, that stupid cut was the first thing he saw. I really wanted to fib about it but I told him the true story and took my ribbing.
I had moved the pin before the buck came in because of a doe I was going to shoot and I didn't move it back for the buck when he came in much closer.

One pin sight is the only way to go.

I prefer the multi-pin. I don’t like to have to think about much or move anything while I’m hunting. I have had too many deer that I thought I was going to shoot at one spot, move and have to adjust before firing.

I shot just over a doe in Kansas at 22 yards and grazed her back. She ran to my 40 yard tree and stopped. Had just enough time to knock an arrow, pick my pin and let it fly. She ran 50 yards and piled up. Would have hated to think I had to adjust during that moment.

Same with deer working their way in.

I tried it for awhile and hated it for stand hunting. Multi pin for me.

+ 1000!! Only way to go for me. It's hard enough to draw a bow on an animal without having to dial in a sight. But, if you set 1 pin, I'd set it at 30 yards, and hold a touch low for 20, and high for 40. But I don't like doing that.

Three pin slider, but thinking about going to single pin with two dot slider.
I can shot from 5-50 with three pins gap shooting, with two I should be able to shoot from 10-40, then dial

You could do the same thing with a multi pin sight be aiming with the wrong pin.
