I got me a new hunting rig, but it's a little on the loud side. It has the stock muffler on it. Question for you Polaris ranger owners?
Do you guys know of a way or what have you done to quite it down?

The only thing I have found was to turn the key to the "off" position...  . I have the same issue with my midsize 800 with a roof on it. There are some aftermarket products sold to help quiet down the noise...but I worry about causing issues with the engine when restricting the exhaust.

Thanks for your response, i have seen some of those aftermarket products too and thought the same thing with the engine. Oh you are right it is a lot quitter when you turn the key off,

Guys on our lease with Rangers have researched everything that they could find. Nothing seems to have the reviews or videos that prove they work for the cost they want for the stuff.
Our research said the aftermarket mufflers cause issues due to back pressure.

Only thing I've found that makes them quieter is the crew models. Engine further away from you
