All my teal from the last 3 weeks are gone. We shot 3. And that was about all we saw besides woodies. And alligators

Counted quite a few wood ducks though....
In da mud.... This other group beat me to me spot this morning, heard quite a few shots. Went by there after my hunt, there was a dead woody laying in the water. They didn't even stomp it or throw it in the bushes. SMH.

Looks like Green Jeans got some boot lip killers in Lubbock and some where Blitz the GW lab found him some Woodies. It's bad enough to kill boot lips when it's legal, more less getting a ticket for a trash bird

But they actually didn’t fire a shot so it turned out to be a good thing

Pretty good way to christen the new rig. We should have had between 25-30 with all the poor shooting but managed 19, 5 shooters. Got 4 today with just 2 of us. Got 27 mph with 3 dudes and what I classify as a medium load.

Yeah this lake is infested with them I got a video of a 7fter that hung around us all morning ill try and figure out how to load it up I decided to only hunt the 4-5 inch deep water on the lake I’m hunting until it gets colder for that reason. The whole lake is covered in vegetation, it’s impossible to see those dang things. My confidence was up a little after not seeing one in four weekends of scouting. First trip out in the dark on Saturday and I saw 5. Not sure I’m even going to take my dog there even when it gets colder.
