Yeah watch out, you will find spoonys flying in same flock as blue wing. I have seen it.

I have seen a ton of pintail stomping too in my life

Yep, but no tags needed this year. Unless you want to shoot lead.

I'm not very familiar with Teal or Waterfowl hunting, but interested and did go on one Teal hunt several years back. Where can I find info that 'tags' aren't needed this year?

What I'm seeing on TPWD website shows you need your license, bird stamp, and federal duck stamp for waterfowl. I'm not able to find anything that says you can hunt Teal without tags if using steel and not lead. Thanks.

If your new, pay the extra $5 to get the bonus bird endorsement.

I just picked up a couple extra tags at my Walmart, they still had several left. Is it like lake naming if I say which Walmart?

Wal-Mart naming. That's even worse. But you can pm me! I got a bunch of teal tags left over from last year. There good until the end of the month. Don't know whether to buy more or wait and see how many I use.

No matter how high a duck flies a hammer still breaks a window.

Figured I was walking into something, but my ignorance got the better of me. As for using lead, not an issue. I only shoot hand loaded shells with platinum shot I make from recycled catalytic converters. Sometimes I use a punt gun if I'm feeling a bit lazy.
