Has anybody here killed a banded teal in Texas? During teal season, or regular season? Let’s see pictures, and good luck to everyone tomorrow.
I have yet to witness a banded bird in my few years of bird hunting

shot one early season on the prairie 8-10 years ago. been on hunts down there when two others were shot, lost the odd man wins on one.

have not witnessed or actually heard of that many gwt during the regular season, but do hear of a few bwt in early season every year

I have killed a couple of blue wings with bands during early teal season, last one was two years ago.

We’ve gotten 4 early bwt and 2 gwt in the late season in Bell county in the last 20 years. Only one I have a saved photo of. Rest were early 2000 range. No photobucket. Last one was 2015.
