Well, I bought their 350 lb feeder and then discovered that their solar panel kit is unobtanium. The back order is “two or three weeks”. Leaving aside the question of how you run out of basic stock this time of year, can anyone point me to a solar kit that’s solid , mounts easily and has armored wiring? I suppose that I could assemble the pieces myself ... I’ll take a closer look at how to attach a panel to the feeder when I get home.

Quite frankly, I think the situation ridiculous.

Your battery will be fine for 2 to 3 weeks without a charger if you are worried about that.

I have never had a Boss Buck but I would agree with the above. I run 12 volt HCR's and some custom clones of the HCR with "The Timer" and I can run them 3 months without a solar panel and zero issues.

That's the drum mount. On their site, there's a "universal" mount that actually fits the non-drum models. In any event, I found a Wild Game Innovations solar kit for cheap. I can make it fit with a little wire or with a little drilling. It will get me by for now.

Thank you, everyone, for the suggestions and help.

I’m running the solar panel kit from academy on my 2 boss bucks. They work great! My batteries have been good for going on second season now.
