Took my son on his first dove hunt opening weekend. We hunted a tank on my cousins dairy in Rising Star. Saw lots of birds, but they were mainly flying over too high. However, my son shot his first dove and we ended up with a dozen. He has asked me a handful times when we're going out again. Definitely a hunt I'll never forget.  The boy and our 4 yr old lab.  First bird!  Tuckered out after a fun hunt!
