Here are some pictures from the last 3 rifles I shot this week on Tues.
First up is a custom Alamo rifle in 28 Nosler shooting the 195 Berger EOL at 200 yards. All loads shot really good, but you can see Loads C and D shot very well. Load C is running 2985 fps with a really low 13 ES (ES = Extreme spread). Load D is a little faster at 3004 fps with a really low ES of 16. I like Load D. Load E opened up some and I had a little bit of pressure on 2 of the rounds. I think Load E is almost to max.
Next is a factory Sako A7 heavy barrel in 300 Win Mag shooting the 178 ELD-X. Everything was a little open except for Load C. Load C shot really well for a factory rifle at 200 yards. We'll take Load C!
Next is another Alamo rifle, that's a little shorty in 22 Creedmoor, barrel is about 18" I think. I freakin' loved this rifle. Shooting the 80 grain ELD-M at 200 and 100 yards. The wind was switching on me and groups were stringing right and left, so I moved the last few groups to 100 yards for a better idea of accuracy in the wind. I think Load A would have been better if not for the wind. Load D and E shot really well, nice and tight. Velocity was getting up there, and
Entire target all together. All at 200 yards, except for the small target on the left.
