I was actually curious what the number for you and your little crew of cohorts. No telling number of rounds spotted, per year. One great thing about spotting, is you still get more rounds fired reading wind, on someone else's ammo.

Zero wasn’t an option so I didn’t vote. Most years would be 50-250 depending on what we did. Haven’t fired a shot in two years....probably won’t shoot anything until after the first of the year.... Work sucks....... Actually, I tried to include "0" as the first option for the exact reason you mention, but the poll would not accept it for some reason. Hang in there, I went through some years like that. Hope things turn around for you. Me too Snake, hope things ease up for you. Work will really stifle a hobby. hang in there buddy !!!

Only because I have too. Working for gun companies it seems I always get sucked into shooting a lot.

I was actually curious what the number for you and your little crew of cohorts. I didn't even think about 300blk, 6.8 and 7.62x39 rounds. I'm way over 1000. Probably pushing 1500.
Haha yea I polished that thing for hours.

I answered 1-5 because all I’ve done so far this year is check the zero on my .300 WSM - that took 2 shots because it was right where I left it. Hopefully there will be only 2 more shots, one on a mountain goat and one on a pronghorn. Maybe 3 if I see the big deer I’m after. Assuming I do my part of course.
If I use my old .270 or .257 Wby on whitetails the number may go up to 5-10 checking the zero on whichever one I use and/or shooting an occasional hog or coyote.
Last year the number would have been higher (21-50) because I tested several different loads in a couple of rifles getting ready for a sheep hunt.
I learned long ago you can't reason someone out of something they don't reason themselves into.

I was all excited to click the 1000+ rounds til i read the post. I bet i only shot 15 rounds last year from the rifles. probably 500-600 38/357/380 and an easy 2000 .22LR

I shoot about 2500-3000 rounds of ammo just with customer rifles. Add in my rifles with the 6.5, 308 and 300 blk out and other ammo testing I do, and it's a lot also. I'd say an easy 5000-7000 rounds a year. More when I was shooting comps. This is all rifle, not counting any pistol. I don't shoot much pistol, mainly rifle.

Depends on how many animals I plan to kill. Assuming load development is done, usually about 150 per year which includes 30'ish deer, 20'ish aoudad culls, the rest pigs.

I shoot more than 1,000 rounds out of my 6.8 per year hunting pigs, coyotes and raccoons. Well over 1,500 rounds out of my M1 Garand, M1A and M1903A3. Around 300-500 rounds out of a .308 bolt action shooting steel and paper. Lastly 30-40 rounds out of my .270 and 30-06 Deer Rifles. Yea, I spend a huge amount of time reloading and cleaning rifles!

Have to say, this response was the one I was most curious about. Very interesting, and you too FJG.

Well it all depends on the year. This year I have shot none and that will most likely continue the rest of the year. I miss it very much and cannot wait until cleared to shoot again from the Doctors. Was fondling a few guns tonight and dreaming.
Most years in the past it would have been 250 - 500 counting all my centerfire rifles just having fun shooting and prepping for season.
Last year it was about 200 mostly with the Grendel, that will be the first centerfire I start back with when given the okay to shoot.
