I just posted the pictures in the photo forum and I wanted to do a quick review of Jeremy Gugelmeyer's outfitting service, Sagebrush Hunts.
He had a tall order to fill: six (6) guys that wanted to hunt together for Pronghorns. He secured a ranch in New Mexico and assisted in landowner tags, etc. We had an absolute terrific time and couldn't have asked for a better experience.
PROS: - Great communication throughout the entire process - Honest/open communication on expectations, etc. (we exceeded all of them) - Great equipment/trucks/glass/etc. - Very experienced guides - Very accommodating and flexible on stalking, setting up for the shot, etc. - Averaged 77" on 6 pronghorn bucks. 86" was the largest with 70" the smallest! - Shooting distances were 200 to 468 out. Average was 340, which is what we wanted. We had a few GA Precision guns in the group and they wanted to reach out there on them. - Price was fair and reasonable and we felt like we received great value for the hunt.
CONS: - None, besides the drive back to Houston!
Thank you Jeremy!!!
