I'm looking for somewhere to duck hunt this season that is not public land. You all know how awful public hunting can be, especially without a boat. That being said, i'm looking for somewhere under $1,000. Is this ever possible to find? If I wanted to pay $3,500 for a duck lease, I'd buy a new jon boat to find some good duck holes.

thanks!

Not anywhere near a major metro area. Cheapest I have ever found within 2 hours of DFW are around $3000 a season.

You're looking for something that doesn't exist.

Your best bet for that price would be to scout and door knock and ask the landowners if you can pay them to day hunt. Even then you are still searching for a unicorn.

Hi,

We have membership availability for our duck hunting club. Most of our locations are +/- 1 hour from Dallas. At $1450/ year we're not far off your mark. You should check us out:
