Can anybody recommend sources/vendors for the galvanized metal roof caps for deer blinds? Ideally in general vicinity of either Houston or Austin. Thanks.

what size blind? I use 3 pieces of corrugated sheet metal from Home Depot, 8' for 4x6 blinds or 10' for 5x8 blinds. 2-3 groove overlap using roofing screws with neoprene washers. Gives about a foot on each end and 6" per side drip ledge.

Any of your local A/C guys should know who can make them...My A/C guy here told me of a place in Waco..They have done some 3x3 for tops for feeders...This place told me that 4x4 would have to be in 2 pieces seamed together just because of the inch or inch and half hem around the edges...

My shop makes them any size. As mentioned above, if the measurement is over 3'6"...there will be a seem (this is because the flat sheets of galvanized metal are 4'x10'). I use an old Pittsburg seem lock machine and then have my guys solder afterwards. I'm in the DFW area but any commercial roofing contractor with their own sheet metal shop could fabricate these for you. How many are you looking for?

I used Metroplex Sheet Metal to build caps for 2 blinds I built. I don't remember a seam but it's been a few years back. But they work great.

If you can talk to a commercial roofing contractor ask about rubber roof materials (EPDM). got some off a job left over. Covered the roof on 3, 12 years ago, no problem. Material comes 10 feet wide.
