We hunted Rule and had a tough time sort of. There are no crops. I guess the drough persuaded farmers not to plant and it looks like a desert out there. We still managed limits over the water tanks but it’s only in the evenings. Mornings were tough. Birds were spread out so much that shooting was slow Same experience in same area. Your hunting over dirt. Too dry too plant.

Just south of laraine it was dead in a spot that has been great the last several years

This weekend everything will be soaked, most areas around Abilene, have had at least 4 inches of rain, some over 5. Haskell has flooding as do other area towns.
