Anyone know of a "reasonably" priced free range West texas elk hunt? Seems like 6-8k is the going rate. Does anyone offer a DIY type elk hunt in West Texas?

Might check with Mulie Mike here....Not sure what his price is but he offers a few in west Texas..

6k is cheap. $7500 to $9500 is the norm.
You won't find self guided in far West Texas really. On occasion we do trespass fee hunts plus kill fee but you would still be $5000 to $6000 into the hunt.

5k is better. Trespass fee type hunt might be the way t go.
