I have a Mule 610, its about 3 years old now and wanted to add something to the fuel tank just to get ready for the hunting season

For the life of me i can not figure out which additive to go with, most common seems to be Seafoam but cant find what makes which better than the another

What is yalls got to?

seafoam or Sta-bil ... I use this in all my gasoline engines from weed eaters, chainsaws, blowers, etc. all the way up to my V-drive wakeboard boat, year around with highest octane gas I can buy ... I hate ethanol!!!

Stabil for Marine is what I always use. If it works well on my boat stored on the water I figured it will work well for everything else I own and so far it has been fine with Carb / Fuel Injection motors. I do hear Seafoam is good. I think I used it once for a cleaning.

I mostly run non ethanol gas in my mule, lawn equipment and boat. If I know they will be sitting for over a month without use, I’ll put in some Stabil just in case. Go to pure-gas.org and it has a list of gas stations that carry the good stuff. Most locations are in small towns outside the larger cities or near lakes. I try and always have a few 5 gallon cans filled at the house and farm for use.

ethanol is used to raise octane. Unless you are running a high compression motor, i.e. Milled heads you are just wasting your money. Around here ethanol free only comes in 87 octane.

Seafoam is what I have always used. From 1957 boat motor to modern emissions equipped diesels never had a problem with it. Run it every so often as a fuel system cleaner/decarb.

Sta-BIL for my 2 cycle yard tools.

Nothing except regular for my Gator.

I'm the neighborhood guy that usually ends up cleaning carbs for springtime startup for about a dozen neighbors.
I try to get them to use stabil but it goes in one ear and out the other....so I guess they just like to come see me every spring.

I buy gas for my lawnmowers, mules, Honda ATVs and other 4 stroke stuff in 5 gallon cans.
Before I head to the station, I put in 1 oz of Stabil 360 and then fill them and don't have those spring startup problems.

The Stabil 360 is designed specifically for gas with alcohol in it.

For my chainsaws and other 2-smoke engines, I just buy the canned premix fuel at HomeDepot.
