Hey THF. I am not an outfitter, this is our leased land where I have an abundance of Axis Deer and would like to sell a buck, maybe a few doe and spike hunts in order to offset costs of clearing the land. I’ve taken a few pictures of the bucks we have available and I’ll gladly email or text them. I can’t get them to load from my cell phone for some reason. These bucks are anywhere between 28-33”and we are asking $1800-2000 depending on the buck you pick. Please contact me at(713) 542-7094. I’m trying to fill the hunt Thursday-Sunday next week as I’ll be up there and it’s located in Kerr County.

Bump, can’t believe this is still available but it is. I do have some people wanting to hunt spikes but the big buck is still up for grabs.

I'm interested to hear why you are selling spike axis buck hunts. Almost all one year axis bucks are spikes, it has nothing to do with being a spike always a spike as falsely attributed to the old TWPD study for whitetail that has been misused ever since. I only make this observation because I once saw a place almost get wiped out of axis bc the landowner was "killing spikes" bc he thought he was helping the herd.

Thank you for the education however we are not selling hunts as a regular occurance. We happily sold a couple of hunts this weekend because we have an abundance of axis at various ages and have a need for the income. The weekend was successfully completed. We may in the future sell a few more to continue our progress. Also, axis are considered an invasive specie and if that ranch wiped them out it is technically only helping the native specie. We aren’t doing that but some ranches do.

Ok guys and gals, anyone else interested in another hunt please shoot me a message on my cell or call. I’m out on desk duty for the month and could get someone up for the weekend any one of the weekends in November. I’d be more than happy to share pictures of last times success which was 100%. I’ve also got a recent picture of a management bedded with a trophy class buck. The recent floods have brought quite a bit of change to the ranch which includes some new axis.
