Went to a new lake two weekends ago for the first time to mark out some spots. Didn't see a single teal. Yesterday I went back to check it out again. 4/5 of my spots I marked had birds on them. Lots of teal and a freaking ton of woodies. Even saw a few gaddies in one spot.

Buddies saw a few dozen on our place in the panhandle last weekend during the dove opener. Water is scarce out there this year. Hopefully the rain this week helps, but it’ll be hard to top last years teal season.

Friend in Garwood down south saw 4-5K this weekend. Lot of them are already way south.
