Any dove reports from that area? Haven’t been to the lease in a month so not sure how it’s looking for next weekend. Thanks

A couple weeks ago I wasn't seeing many outside wichita falls. I am going to go out to the farm this afternoon and mow sunflowers. I'll report back and let you know how its looking.

We have tons of sunflowers, I mowed sunflowers for a few hours Saturday and saw a few dove, but not like some years. I don't see many flying around town, or outside of town. I'm hoping for a cold front.

This morning I decided to look and keep count of the dove I saw between Graham and Wichita Falls. I counted 7 on the hour drive. I didn’t see any more than that once I got into Oklahoma.

Ended up with 11 between my daughter and I. Hunted outside of Wichita. Did a lot better then I thought we would do, but I didn’t set my expectations very high.
Going back out about 5

I hunted with my buddie this morning outside Seymore and I’ve never seen so many doves and that’s counting hunting cut corn fields in Devine. Saw several thousand and got our limits in the first hour because were awful shots.
Biggest difference is the wheat fields that haven’t been plowed have a weed that is seeding out and the doves are killing those fields. The plowed fields aren’t seeing jack.
Good luck to all.
