I had my first hard-horn pic this year on Aug 19th. Then another one over the weekend and now another buck that should be 100% rubbed out today judging by yesterdays pics. A little bit early for me but not unusual for Goliad County. It has gotten dry enough again and persimmons are start to play out, so deer are hitting protein a little bit better again the last week. Still not cleaning up all the corn on just 2 second spin times twice per day at 4 feeders. Eating a little more at bow blinds and hand corn now also. New bucks that have not been on TC since late Feb are starting to show back up again the last few days.

Not yet on our place in Erath County but it should be soon. Looking forward to seeing if several of these bucks look as good as the velvet look suggests.

Just set my KS cams out about 2 weeks ago. Can't wait to get back for the opener on the 15th, check cards and smoke that big ten from last year.

I think I am up to 4 or 5 now that have shed that I have on TC with the last ones in the past 3 days. One pretty nice buck started to rub out before he was even completely finished growing. Has blunted his MB ends and his right G2 and G3 are both blunt. As of this morning he was completely rubbed out now.

Hey Lakeforklodge I’ve had a wireless camera in KS since July. Sure is nice to get the pics sent to my phone as they are taken.

Yep had one a couple of years ago. I set it out again this year and it doesn't have enough signal to send pics. I guess the trees have grown just enough to block it.
