Looking at pellet grills and local dealer is sold on the Yoder. They carry many others from Traeger to Green Mountain and others. This Yoder seems like a beast, but is it worth the extra money? Won’t be used for competition, but definitely used a lot.

Ive heard great things about the Yoder’s. They are built like tanks. I can say from experience that the one time I cooked on a Treager I was surprised how thin the metal is.

Check out amazingribs.com. They give really good reviews on most of the pellet smokers including Yoder.

I have the Yoder 640 and love it. It is built like a tank compared to the other brands. Made out if very thick steel and holds temps really well.
