Hello. I am a firefighter/paramedic who has been in this profession for 17 years. Due to my profession I miss out a lot on time with my daughters. I am looking to take my daughter's hunting so we can spend some quality time together. I would like the experience of them killing a deer and the experience of us doing things outdoors together. This would provide a time we could talk and bond together. I had this experience with my father and is something that was a memorable experience.I would like to provide it for them also. If you have information on how I could make this happen please PM ME. I have limited funds really not having funds to pay for a lease. Any information you could provide would be appreciated.

It seems to be a great way to introduce youth to hunting. I put my son in it this year and we are hoping to get some quality time together as well as him getting his first deer. Its for ages 9-17 I believe.

Might want to post this in the outfitters section as well. Most have more does to kill for MLD than they can keep up with.

Look into hunting Ft Hood. You'd need to buy a Ft Hood hunting licence as well as register your gun(s) you are planning on hunting with on Ft Hood.

In addition to the youth hunting program, definitely put in for some of the TPWD youth draw hunts. (Different program).

The guys that run the hunts try really hard to be sure the kids all have a good hunt, and there are some great opportunities with better odds than the adult draw hunts.
