I just got drawn for the Davis Mountains Javelina hunt. Does anyone have any info or previous experience there? Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Congrats on the draw. Can’t help you on hunting tips but it’s one of the nicer state parks in Texas.

My SIL and I hunted Elephant Mtn a couple years ago. One thing we found out during the orientation was NO Varmint calls Period. They said the Javelina would come to the call. I didn't know that and had a call in my pocket for the unlimited Coyotes. I quickly let them know I was going to leave it in my truck. rough country, but like NDN98 said beautiful. Good luck.
