This coming season will be my first time bow hunting.
I have some questions for those of yall that often go to Somerville WMA.
Last season, I spooked alot of hogs when I was walking through tall brush. Most were within 10 yards of me.

Anyone ever cross the creeks in Somerville WMA?
(Upper East & Middle Yegua, and Nails Creek)
I'm trying to see if I can walk through with my shin high boots, or if I have wear some hip waders.
I don't mind getting a little wet, but don't want to end up getting soaked.

Can you park where the Pumpjacks and tankers are?
I've often seen trucks parked around it, but I don't know if they're employees working on them or public hunters.

we use to cross the Nails creek channel were it dumps into the lake in waders while duck hunting the channel itself was the only sketchy part the rest was hip deep... if your back into the main creek you should be fine with boots especially
this year if we dont get any more rain
