The BH comes thru Navasota going to her Sisters place south of Round Top about 1'ish today at way less than the speed of sound , and swears she saw a dead critter facing the hiway that looked like a full grown Mountain Lion, laying dead just off the roadway on Hwy 105....Anybody seen anything like that today????

Espy..."Better Half" , which is what she's been claiming for over 50 years...

Pumped her for info and heard her description of feet bigger around than my fist, long body, a tawny coat and short thick muzzle, but could not see any tail as the carcass was facing the roadway.

Told her the THF Peanut Gallery would want pic's to prove anything and she replied they can go look/see for themselves...I'm going to Sis's to help with the BinL's funeral arrangements for Friday in Katy.

B&D My thoughts too and joshed her several times and she kept spouting body characteristics ...anything to keep her focus off the purpose of her trip and on roadway observations.

No One on here from Navasota anymore????

BH spent 5-6 years at PetsMart selling dog stuff, and registering folks for training classes...she's seen more than a few dogs I'd say...and why I dinnit argue with her about what she saw...

Sure wish Deer Season would come sooner. Hunted last year at BinL's, now SinL's place and gonna miss argueing Maroon X's Orange football with him....or 270's X's '06's.

I saw a dead Bigfoot on the side of the road once and i don't believe in Bigfoot. Actually turned around to go back and look to find a pile of garbage and chunks of old tires. And don't ask how many times I stalked a stump in the mountains while bowhunting bears. lol

....my last post on the subject...

How do you get several hundred strangers to weep openly at a funeral...ask Moses Rangel to sing hymns at the service. I am not a public person concerning my faith, but I could and will stop to listen to Moses sing about God's Love anywhere anytime.

I came home to Dogwood City thru LaGrange/Rockdale/Hearn/to Buffalo and home...saw more than a few WT's up and feeding at mid day several places around water where the forage was bright green...but nary a longtailed oversized Spit Kitty anywhere...oh well ....Peace Ya'll.

Im in East Texas. My neighbor, who isn't prone to exaggerate or tell tales, told us that earlier today he saw a large mountain lion chasing a deer through his field and into our bottom field. We are on the river bottoms. We have never had a picture of one but do have a couple of cameras in that area. Will be checking them in the next day or so, would be cool to have a picture.

Several years ago while driving from Corpus to SA airport around 3 rivers area I saw what looked like a huge spotted cat dead on the side of the south bound lane. I was pressed for time and couldn't stop. I left a message with TPW. Looked for it on the way home but not there. I believe truly it was a Jaguar.

Y’all do realize the population is going in Texas and has been....When I was a kid they were never any sightings in Nolan or Fisher county, now 20yrs later sightings don’t make the newspaper.
