Had a Lobo Negro from the Pedernales Brewing Company awhile back. Pretty darn good stuff. You know it was good because it won some kind of a medal in Mexico. Bet your Buttwiper never won a Mexican gold medal. Of course Perderneles got bought out by Uncle Billy's Brewing and Uncle Billy got bought up by a bigger beer barrel...the beat goes on and all the beers begin to taste the same.

I saw where Pedernales shut down in Fbg., but hadn't heard what happened. The brewery my son helped start and works at, Künstler, won a San Antonio award of some sort. They seem to be doing fairly well. I'm just glad he's getting some sort of paycheck.
