Just got done spreading the oats and low and behold 5 minutes later it rained. Should get some more over the next couple of days too.

So oats and clover have come in very nicely. The deer have been hitting the plot pretty good but it seems to be holding up well. Funny thing is the bucks aren't really hitting it yet. I'm hoping that once the rut starts they'll make a trip or two.

Now that is a nice looking plot. We just need a freeze or two to kill everything else off and sour the acorns and then you will be covered up with deer.
