I'm in the market for a AR platform - 6.5 Creed. $1,000 - $2,000 price range. I have a Rock River in 5.56 and like it. I know i can get RR in 6.5, but wondering if others have their favorites?

I don't have a Creedmoor, but both my RRA's have been solid and amazingly accurate. I thought about getting the Savage MSR-10 but I haven't seen any tests where it was under 1.25-1.5" for three shots and that's just not going to cut it for me. The RRA will be heavy-if that doesn't matter, I'd certainly check it out and see if you like it.

I'm currently working on a handload for a friend's MSR-10. That 1 - 1.5 inches with factory match ammo is about right. We took his out to 600 yards with the factory Hornady 140 ELD-M and were getting 6 - 8 inch groups. I like the Rock Rivers too, but I've never seen or shot one of their 6.5's.

Rock River should be a solid choice. Had one of their left-hand 5.56 Operators for several years and it was a great shooter.

Stag would be on my short list as well. The 6.5 CM can be had in 22" or 24" barrel lengths.
