I've caught 2 games there. I'm not even a baseball fan but it's great to watch a game there. And the bars all around the stadium make it even better.

That's awesome...as a baseball fan Fenway has to be on the bucket list.
I got to see a game as a youngster at the old Cominskey before it closed, Wrigley and the old Riverfront...my grandpa always took me to some game every summer. Pretty cool memories and those old parks never disappoint.

Very cool..... Me and a buddy went to Boston a couple of years ago and saw the Rangers vs. Redsox at Fenway on July 4th.

As they'd say in Bawstan....wicked pissa, dude guy!!
I went to college in Boston at Northeastern University and played soccer there for a bit. Had a friend that was roommates with the Red Sox mascot (Wally, the Green Monster). We got free tix for all the 99 ALCS games, amongst many other games during our time there. Was an amazing experience. Took my wife back there a couple years ago to show her the old stomping ground and to hit up a Michael Franti concert and a Sox game. Love that stadium...and city!! So much history.

I grew up going to Fenway for games, it wasn't until a few years ago that I took the tour with my kids did I notice all the dents in the Green Monster. It also seems either those old seats either got smaller or my butt got bigger!!

Great pic's and thank you for sharing. Been to Wrigley field but never Fenway and would love to. AFAIK those are the last 2 original ballparks.

They played 14 innings there one night this week. Here it is. It was Monday night. The crowd thinned a little before it was over. It wasn't the Ted Sox. Fenway is packing them in tonight.

I stopped being a fan of baseball in Jr. high but we went to Fenway with our kids and I will say its very cool. Not a big stadium and they kept it historic. Liked it way better than Dodgers Stadium.
Boston as a whole was a very nice town to visit

Yes, it was a very cool place! The old seats (under the over hang) behind the new red one's were TINY! They were the original 1933 seats with the wood slats to sit on. I don't know how you fit in them with other people around you. I didn't fit, and my knees were jamming into the seat in front of me, and my knees were touching! What I found very interesting (and a little scary), is the seats on top of the green monster. Directly behind the wall is a side walk and street. There's no room to expand the park out, so they expanded these seats out over the street. So all the seats and walk ways to get to these seats are out over the street. I'm scared of heights, so I didn't like that feeling walking around up there! But they are GREAT seats! Another fact I did not know. There is a single red seat in right field. It is the location where Ted Williams hit the longest home run in the park of 502 feet! But, they said there has been some harder/longer hit balls over the green monster. But, MLB does not recognize the "calculated" distance of a ball, only the actual landing location of the ball in the ball park. So, any home run leaving the park does not count on "record" length.

We sat just to the left of the red seat across the isle

Chad, where were the ball displays? I don't remember seeing those... It's the new Living Museum. They said it was recently done. It was very cool! I could have spent hours in there. But the fam was getting "hangry" so we left. http://boston.redsox.mlb.com/bos/fenway-park-living-museum/mission-statement.jspThey had all the World Series team signed baseballs. Here's a pic I found (not mine). But this is where I took the Babe Ruth pictured ball from 1932.

Would like to visit Frenway one day but would prefer Wrigley if I only got to go to one. Both are awesome stadiums.
