Got this one a couple weeks back. He'd been seen on camera laying down at the feeder @ 30 minutes before spin time several times. Biggest one I've taken at this place. Look to do some more damage and coon control this weekend. For reference, I'm 5'10" 175. Didn't put him on the scale but it was all a buddy and I could muster to drag him 4 feet from under a cedar to get the strap on him. I'm sure the local buzzards and other critters ate well for a few days.

That hog look somewhat domestic. Looks to has a shorter snout then most big boars I’ve seen. Big pig regardless.

I thought the same thing but I'm not aware of anyone that has domestic hogs around there.

Nice hog!
It can literally take generations for a particular phenotypic trait to be lost once hogs get into the wild. Some traits will take longer than others. They all have some domestic in them. For that matter, they all have some "Russian" in them as they were all European boars before they were domesticated.

Signature white band but they were anything but domesticated.

That's a big 'ol pig. Doesn't look like he's missed too many meals. Nice work. Keep After 'Em!

I get that I just think this one looks like it is more domestic then a lot I’ve seen. He also has cutters and most domestic hogs don’t so maybe he is 50/50 rather than mostly wild. He just looks a little different to me. Might just be because he is so fat.

I thought the same thing but I'm not aware of anyone that has domestic hogs around there. Probably got cut out of the food stamp program when Trump was elected. Good job either way no free lunchs anymore.
