I haven't seen any pheasant chicks...
Quail are still paired up, but I have yet to see any chicks. The latest BABY chicks that I saw last year was the second week of October!!!

How do the pheasant numbers around Petersburg look this year? I've got a dozen or so places to hunt around there if it's worth making the trip.
Silver spurs and gold tequila keep me hanging on. Pretty girls and old cantinas give me shelter from the storm.

It looks pretty promising. They are building roads and digging a bunch of holes, for wind turbines. I am not sure the affect, if any it will have o the hunting.
