Went to Limpopo South Africa with wife in April but still want a few plains game animals. Harvested a Kudu, Limpopo Bushbuck, 2 Impala, Blue Wildebeest, Porcupine, Nyala, Zebra. Want to go back soon! Maybe 2020.

Animals I still want are:
Waterbuck (still haunted by the memory of letting a big Waterbuck walk)
Gemsbok
Springbuck
Reedbuck
Hartebeest
Blesbok
Bongo (if I were to win the lottery that I don't play)

Red Stag (Going to New Zealand in March 2019). I have harvested a few red deer in the past but wife wants to go to New Zealand so I am going to harvest a big boy.

Caribou (no specific place in mind)
Moose (no specific place in mind)
Elk (big bull- harvested smaller bull a few years ago)
Mule Deer (never been on Mulley hunt)
Pronghorn Antelope (dreaming of Wyoming hunt)

After these I may turn to a few dangerous game hunts. Grizzly, Cape Buffalo, Australian Water Buffalo, etc. I have shoot lots of Whitetails (largest is 172P&Y).

Maybe my dream will need to include a cabin to accommodate all these new mounts. Okay. It is a dream but at least I have a good start.

What is your dream hunt(s). Are you making plans to do them?

If you want a caribou, you better do it soon. Quebec is completely closed and the central provinces are going to follow suit here pretty soon. Alaska is closing up due to providing more to the native populations. Pretty soon, even there and the Yukon will be dried up.

As for Moose, I highly recommend Manitoba. Not quite as big as the Yukon moose, but the hunting is a bit easier and the fishing you can do while not hunting is superb.

I want to complete the Grandslam of North American sheep!
Already have a dall, hunted stones in 2016 and came home without one, and am going back in 2019 hoping for a redemption!

Beyond that, I want to hunt a few of the worlds ibex while I'm still able to climb mountains, the bezoar being at the top of that list!

Hopefully when those days are behind me, I'll return to Africa to hunt some the stuff that I didn't hunt on my previous trips, mainly a leopard!

Have quite a few points built up in Utah, so a big bull elk isn't to far off!

Have a wall full of 150"+ whitetails, but have yet to pull the trigger on a really nice mulie!

So not much I guess! wink

Moose hunting the Yukon with my bow! That's my #1 dream hunt. Now if I just had $20,000 grand to throw at it!

For those of you going to New Zealand, I hunted there in 2009 and I swear there's not a flat piece of land anywhere on the south island! eeks333 Make sure you put in your time exercising before the trip. It can be tough sledding up and down the mountains there! And I don't mean just walking on the treadmill, like I did. I could tear a treadmill up, but it's not the same. Make sure you get out there, in your hunting boots, and go over uneven terrain and up and down hills. And if you're lucky, you'll get to go up and down the mountains in SNOW, like I did!

I want a Kudu but doubt that it will happen. Hunted South Africa last year and saw a couple but they were smaller than I wanted.
The thought of flying on British Airways makes me cringe
