Wife saw these in a Cabelas food magazine and wanted to try it.
Peel and cut alvacados in 1/2, remove seed and stuff pit with shredded cheese, put halves back together wrap in seasoned ground meat and again in bacon. They were good but need to season a little heavier next time.

Jalapenos are my go too and I completely agree. Next time we make them im going to add a layer of onion in somewhere also. They were not bad, but kinda bland for my taste, but the better half thought they were heaven on earth.

I just made that up because they are similar to armadillo eggs. I do know armadillo eggs are cream cheese stuffed jalapenos wrapped in breakfast sausage baked 15 minutes. Then wrap in flattened biscuit bake until golden. I love em.

Do you bake them or grill them?

I grilled them but you can bake or grill. Pit was saying 300-400 degrees and I cooked till the bacon rendered and had a little color, im sure the ground meat and bacon were both cooked through long before I actually took them off, not sure how long they cooked for maybe 1/2 hour, as a WAG.
