It is with a heavy heart I type to inform we lost our sweet Kinzie girl to cancer today. She was about the best dog you could ask for...always wanting to please and just wanting to be loved. She had an incredible nose and was almost human-like in the way she understood how to make you happy. You will be missed dear girl.
One of my favorite pictures of her and her older friend Tiga.

Condolences.

Thank you all for the kind words. Yesterday was tough, but also kinda a blessing in that it’s now over. She was a good one.

So very sorry for your family's loss.
I was hoping you might have a little more time with her.

Thanks Kindall... I was hoping the same thing. Was really glad to get a couple extra weeks thanks to the prednisone.

Forrest...I’m liking the new pup idea. Was thinking I might wait a bit, but my daughter could really use a pick me up and a new best friend. I probably could too. Thinking about a lab again and looking forward to throwing some bumpers. I feel like I’ve learned a bit from my previous dogs and the trainers/books/videos I’ve invested in. I’d like to give it a shot on my own and see how far we can get.
