I have an outdoor kitchen setup.
One component is an outdoor sink. Originally, pvc was ran from the sprinkler system to the sink. Only cold water. The drain was just hooked up to a drainage pipe that wexits to the street.

It was simple and worked well. Over time, I turned it off for a few years. Have recently redid the pvc and glue.

The problem. The sink only runs water when the sprinkler is on. Itís like there is not enough pressure to the faucet now. Any ideas. It had pressure before, but not now.

Set the station to come on at most common times you will use it.

I don't actually understand what turning on a sprinkler has to do with water pressure. Have a leak? It is connected where the water enters a station right?

If it worked before and you redid the PVC and glue, my guess would be that you did not put it back together the way it was before.

You took the faucet apart and removed any debris right? City replaced my meter a few weeks ago and lost all pressure. Or so I thought. I didn't check all faucets. They didn't purge an outside hose or tell me they even did it so all dirt clogged my kitchen faucet. I called them and noticed all the mud they threw in the street. Stupid 1 minute fix...

If it only runs when the sprinkler is on, you must have the sink plumbed to the wrong side of the sprinkler station solenoid switch?

We have a faucet attached to our sprinkler system that works when ever we use it, do not know how they set it up but it can be done.

Good Luck up

All systems are different but PVC is like playing with tinker toys. You can easily work around the sprinkler system and run a new line to the sink.

I figured out it has something to do with the master valve in the front yard.

Just a thought. If you have connected to sprinkler system. You have connected to outlet side of back flow preventer. There is a remote possibility you could recieve contaminated water at that sink. Remote yes, but this is why we install air breaks and back flow preventers.
